Focus on core concepts that underlie the foundation of basic science and clinical medicine.
Anatomy course emphasizes cell and developmental biology interfaced with radiology, diagnostics and physical exam findings.
Learning primarily takes place in small group sessions and team activities.
Three afternoons unscheduled.
Elective Seminars are offered in global health, community service, medical Spanish and bioethics.
Grading is Pass/Fail.
Students have the time and flexibility of scheduling three afternoons a week in any way that fits their interests, from working at one of the school's community clinics, to attending classes outside of medicine, or pursuing independent research.
