UPENN Health System

Our institutional goal is to meet the challenge of medical education, patient care, and research in the 21st century. We anticipate that our students and faculty will become the leaders in medicine, science, and health care policy as they enter a dynamic health care environment.

The University of Pennsylvania Health System was established to provide the organizational breadth and flexibility required to achieve our education and research missions. The system includes the Medical Center (including the Perelman School of Medicine and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania) and an integrated provider network (Clinical Care Associates). The system creates a regional network that provides patients with access to primary care providers.
