Match Day 2008 took place at Dunlop Auditorium with 136 students stepping forward to receive their match results. Of those, 39 matches will keep residents close or at Penn: 37 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, 1 at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and 1 at Sheie Eye Institute. Others are headed to renowned institutions across the country, including 19 at Harvard’s hospitals, 2 at Duke, 7 at the University of Washington, and 5 at University of California at San Francisco.
