Description of Research Expertise

My expertise areas are Thoracic Imaging and Nuclear Medicine particularly Nuclear Cardiology and PET-CT in Cancer Imaging. As a clinical teacher I regularly teach radiology residents and fellows. In addition, I usually encourage the resident and fellows to publish and present posters and educational exhibits in national and international meetings.

My research expertise encompass Thoracic Imaging as well as Nuclear Cardiology and in that subject matter I have published research.

Over last few years I am part of Imaging Research and now expert in RECIST1.1, Lugano, irRECIST, RANO and other research imaging criteria.

Description of Clinical Expertise

In addition to my expertise in thoracic and nuclear medicine, when I joined the Penn faculty in the radiology, I started using CT guided fluroscopic biopsy for the lung nodule. lung masses, mediastinal masses, pleural biopsies and chest wall masses. I taught this modality not only my residents and fellows but other attending in other division and now everybody uses CT fluoroscopic guidance for the biopsies and other interventions.

Description of Other Expertise

Recent graduation in Masters in Law (Health) adds to my expertise in health related laws, how the health regulatory world works and Hatch Waxman Act in New drug applications.
