Founding member and Chair of the Children's Hospitals Neonatal Consortium (CHNC), a benchmarking organzation of neonatologists working in children's hospitals NICU's. CHNC partnered with the Child Health Corportaion of America (since merged with NACHRI to form the Childrens Hospitals Association)to develop the Children's Hospitals Neonatal Database, a data repository for infants cared for in Level IV NICU's which was launched in 2012. The CHNC's mission is to improve care and outcomes for infants cared for in children's hospitals NICU's. The CHND is rapidly becoming the largest clincial data repository in the world for infants with uncommon to rare neonatal diseases.
