Description of Research Expertise
Clinical interests: Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer; Small Cell Lung Cancer; Radiosensitization, Low-Dose Rate Radiotherapy, Biologic Targeted Therapies for Lung Cancer; Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy;Research interests:
My laboratory's objective is characterization of the sonic hedgehog pathway in lung tumorigenesis and the role of Gli1 overexpression in lung tumor development using a Gli1 conditional knock-in mouse model. In addition we are interested in characterizing the metabolomic profile of lung tumor and non-tumor stem cells and identify key pathways for lung cancer cells with stem cell features for better therapeutic targeting.
