Description of Research Expertise
Dr. Brown is internationally renowned for her research in patient quality-of-life measurement, healthcare economic assessments and cost-utility analyses. She is co-founder and director of the Center for Value-Based Medicine and has a particular interest in pharmacoeconomics and healthcare policy. She is pleased to collaborate with other researchers and residents/fellows on their areas of interest in healthcare analyses and quality-of-life research.Description of Clinical Expertise
Dr. Brown is a comprehensive ophthalmologist in the Philadelphia area with a special interest in diabetes. She does not maintain a clinical practice currently; she encourages development of and participates in patient education programs in the Delaware Valley area.Description of Other Expertise
