Description of Research Expertise

Current research involves studying 1) blood biomarkers in patients with transient ischemic attack (TIA), stroke, and other types of cerebrovascular disease, 2) alterations in vascular structure and function in patients with migraine, and 3) use of transcranial Doppler emboli detection for assessment of patients with cerebrovascular disease.
