Description of Itmat Expertise

Dr. Alpern is investigating pediatric Emergency Department visits within PECARN hospitals to establish an ED-based data collection and surveillance system at all sites within the network. Studies also include the assessment of leukocyte biosignatures in the diagnosis of serious bacterial infections in the young.
