Cardiovascular Metabolism

Description of Research Expertise

The Arany lab studies cardiovascular metabolism, with a focus on the vasculature and striated muscles. We take a multidisciplinary approach, spanning from molecular biology and numerous ‘omic approaches to mouse models and human genetic and clinical studies. The objective is to make fundamental discoveries about cardiovascular metabolism with an eye to clinical translatation.
