Description of Itmat Expertise

My interest is in developing novel pharmaceutics for preserving retinal ganglion cell function in pathologies such as high pressure and normal tension glaucoma. I am currently using mouse and in vitro cell culture models to provide proof-of-concepts for potential therapeutics for patients.
