The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Assistant Professor position in either the tenure track or the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research, clinical care, and education. Board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology.
We seek to recruit outstanding physician scientists/clinician scientists interested in the interface between basic investigation and translational medicine. The successful applicant will direct a productive, independent research program in addition to complementary clinical service and teaching. Preference will be given to candidates with a focus on diabetes, pituitary or adrenal disorders. Applicants with a strong record of independent funding and peer-reviewed publications will be given preference. In addition to providing an environment rich in scientific mentorship and collaboration, appointees will receive a generous start up packages to support the establishment of a robust research program.
