The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. While evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track, research is not required in the academic clinician track. Board Certified in Medical Oncology.
The position includes clinical care of patients with myeloma and amyloidosis, as well as active participation in our portfolio of clinical research studies. The myeloma program encompasses a busy outpatient clinic with nurse practitioner support, as well as an active inpatient service providing both autologous and allogeneic transplants, staffed with residents, fellows, and nurse practitioners. Current research efforts are focused on new drug development, cancer vaccines, cellular therapies, and epidemiologic studies.
The division welcomes candidates with clinical and research experience in myeloma and hematologic malignancies, and will be part of an expanding clinical research program in hematologic malignancies.
This physician will be a member of the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania and will have clinical and teaching responsibilities.
