The Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Assistant Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. While evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track, research is not required in the academic clinician track. Board Certified in Medical Oncology.
The successful candidate will help develop an Oncology Palliative Care Program, and will play an important role in improving transitions in care, in enhancing palliative and end of life care, and in enhancing overall quality of in patient care. This physician will be a member of the Abramson Cencer Center of the University of Pennsylvania and will have clinical and teaching responsibilities.
