The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Neurology with a focus on general, cerebrovascular and or neuromuscular disorders of the field of neurology. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.
Candidates must be board eligible/certified in Neurology. Fellowship training or post residency training experience is highly desirable. The individual should be prepared to develop the consultative and outpatient services at two hospitals, the University of Pennsylvania main campus as well as the Presbyterian Medical Center. Leadership skills are highly desirable, since the goal is to build a flagship program within the Penn Health System.
