The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Rheumatology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Assistant Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. While evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track, research is not required in the academic clinician track. Board certified/eligible in Pediatric Rheumatology or a related pediatric sub-specialty.
The successful candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient service in pediatric chronic pain syndromes and in pediatric rheumatology. The candidate will also perform clinical research in pediatric patients with chronic pain syndromes, in addition to teaching medical students, pediatric residents and pediatric rheumatology fellows.
