The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Pulmonary Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, clinical care, and research. While evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track, research is not required in the academic clinician track. Candidates should be Pulmonary Medicine Board certified/eligible.

Prospective candidates should be interested in leading the development of academically based clinical programs, or in any areas of translational research. The Division fulfills missions of clinical care, teaching and basic, clinical and physiologic research. Programs include the Cystic Fibrosis Center, Sleep Center, Technology Dependence Program, Asthma Program, Lung Transplantation Program and Thoracic Insufficiency Center and Bronchoscopy/Airway program.
