The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Full or Associate Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. While evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track, research is not required in the academic clinician track. Candidate must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

We are seeking a Director of Obstetrical Services who will oversee the operations of Labor & Delivery, Perinatal Evaluation Center and Postpartum service while assuming responsibility for strengthening our educational, quality and patient safety programs. This individual will work closely with the Department Chair, Chief Medical Officer, Director of OB Services for the Health System, Director of Women’s Health Nursing and OB Anesthesia. This position requires a senior level practitioner with experience, excellent leadership qualities and interpersonal skills. General obstetricians and maternal fetal medicine specialists are encouraged to apply.

Candidates for the CE track will be expected to participate in patient care, teaching and clinical research/trials in addition to administrative responsibilities. Evidence of scholarship is required for consideration in the CE faculty tracks. High quality medical student, resident and fellow teaching is required annually.

Candidates for the AC track will be involved in patient care, teaching and administrative duties. They may participate in clinical research/trails, but scholarship is not required in the AC faculty track. High quality medical student, resident and fellow teaching is required annually.
