The Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Epidemiology. Applicants must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and research.
We are seeking candidates with research interests in the epidemiology of infectious diseases, genetic or molecular epidemiology of cancer, dermatologic epidemiology, reproductive epidemiology, renal & other areas of cardiovascular epidemiology, obesity, epidemiology of gastrointestinal diseases, and pharmacoepidemiology. Applicants in other research areas will also be considered.
Applicants must have an M.D or Ph.D. degree, with the desire to build a career in clinical research.
Start dates are available as early as July 1, 2011.
