The Department of Pharmacology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of translational research with a focus on cardiovascular disease. Responsibilities include conducting complex experiments on oxidative stress in cardiovascular disease and the role of lipids as modulators of the response to vascular injury. Applicants must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.

Position requires a minimum of five years of postdoctoral research experience and expertise in the area of prostaglandin and isoprostane research. Independent research funding is not required to obtain this position, but obtaining independent funding once in the position is expected.
