The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Full or Associate Professor position in either the tenure track or the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful applicant will be accomplished in the area of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care, research, and education. Candidate must be board certified/eligible in ob/gyn and subspecialty trained in urogynecology.
Successful candidates interested in the tenure track will be expected to establish and maintain independent, extramurally funded research programs. Evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track and candidates will have an opportunity to participate in the Pelvic Floor Disorders Network grant and play a major role in the fellowship program. Teaching is required in both tracks. Individuals with an interest in a mentored research experience may be candidates for a Women's Reproductive Health Research (WRHR) career development award.
