The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Full or Associate Professor position in either the tenure track or the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful applicant will be accomplished in the area of Radiology. Expertise in the specific area of Musculoskeletal Imaging is required. Responsibilities include leading an internationally recognized program in the Musculoskeletal Division within the Department of Radiology. Evidence of scholarship is required in the non-tenure clinician-educator track, whereas tenure track faculty will be expected to establish and maintain independent, extramurally funded research programs. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research, education, and clinical care. American Board of Radiology or equivalent certification is required.

The Musculoskeletal Division currently has 6 full or part-time clinical faculty and 3 filled ACGME fellowship positions and is supported by a strong group of basic imaging researchers with an interest in osteoporosis and cartilage diseases. At the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, the Division enjoys dedicated reading and consultation space equipped with fully integrated RIS/PACS. Clinical facilities include 9 multidetector CT systems and 11 state-of-the-art high field MRI systems with additional 1.5T, 3T and 7T units dedicated to research.
