The Department of Pharmacology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of bioinformatics with a focus on genomics, drug efficacy, translational research. Responsibilities include bioinformatics, concentrating on the outcomes that genomic traits have on drug efficacy, risk and off-target effects within the translational domain. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.
Requirements include fluency in statistical methods, basic algorithm development and a proven publication record in applied bioinformatics relating to translational research.
