The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Rank will be commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include clinical service in Health System Hospitals, resident and medical school teaching, participation in department sponsored research projects and on-call duties. Evidence of scholarship is required for re-appointments and promotions. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible. It is desirable for candidates to have experience in relevant laboratory or clinical research. Fellowship training in Neuro Orthopaedics and/or Pediatric Orthopedics is preferred. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research, clinical care, and education.
