The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Pediatric and Clinical Psychology with a focus on the provision of psychosocial services to families and health professionals in the context of a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The successful applicant will have demonstrated excellent qualfications in supervision and management. Responsibilities include collaboration with medical and nursing staff professionals in the delivery of services to families coping with high levels of stress and anxiety, oversight of psychosocial services provided to families in the NICU, training of professionals from multiple disciplines in strategies to address the psychosocial needs of families, and collaboration with researchers to plan and execute clinical research studies in the NICU. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research and clinical care. License to practice in PA.
