Allergy-Immunology: Clinician Educator

The Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Responsibilities include excellent qualifications in teaching and delivery of patient care in an academic enviroment and clinical expertise in the evaluation of primary immunodeficiency disease is desired. Applicants must have an M.D./Ph.D degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy and Immunology.

The successful candidate will serve as a master clinician working in the outpatient clinics and as an attending on the inpatient services of the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Duties also include teaching Allergy and Immunology fellows, housestaff, and medical studnets. Clinician Educators are additionally expected to develop collaborative asthma or clinical immunology research community at Penn. We are located on the main campus of the University of Pennsylvania Health System in West Philadelphia which also adjoins the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center campuses and is close to Philadelphia's vibrant Center City. This is an outstanding opportunity to participate in the expansion of the patient care, teaching and clinical research missions of a dynamic Allergy and Clinical Immunology Section.
