The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of cognitive neuroscience with a focus on autism spectrum disorders (ASD) research using advanced brain imaging techniques such as functional MRI. Responsibilities include building a successful externally funded program of cognitive neuroscience research on ASD. The successful candidates will be expected to maintain a clinical presence in their area of research, and to participate in the Department's teaching mission. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research, education, and clinical care. Must be eligible for licensure as psychologist in State of PA within one year of start date.
The position is located at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The successful applicants will work with the Center for Autism Research (CAR). Experience in research on anxiety disorders or attention deficit disorder as comorbidities of ASD, in the context of a broader program of work on emotion and attention regulation in ASD, and experience in translational research are preferred.
