The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant or Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Radiology-Body Imaging. Responsibilities include clinical coverage in the areas of Ultrasound(US), Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Fluoroscopy, Inpatient Reading, Outpatient Reading, and coverage at the Specialty Centers when necessary. The candidate will also be assigned to in house coverage on evenings and weekends. He/she will also teach residents and fellows during readouts and conferences and participate in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical subspecialties. Teaching of medical students will be limited to those rotating through the Department of Radiology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. In addition, the candidate will prepare case-based learning materials and lectures, teaching posters and presentations for national review. The clinician educator track also requires the candidate to be active in clinical or basic research. Ample support and mentorship for research will be provided. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care, research, and education. American Board of Radiology certification and completion of fellowship training in pediatric radiology is required.

The Department performs over 200,000 examinations per year and offers highly specialized imaging in state-of-the art equipment.
