The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in either the non-tenure academic-clinician track or the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Track will be commensurate with experience. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Parkinson’s Disease and other movement disorders . Responsibilities include providing clinical services, teaching or developing a clinical or basic scholarly program. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. While evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track, research is not required in the academic clinician track. Candidate must be BC/BE in Neurology, have completed a fellowship in Movement Disorders.

The effective date of appointment will be 07/01/2012.
