The Division of Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree.

We are seeking an individual who will develop a program in epidemiology and outcomes research focused in kidney transplantation. While the position involves an active role in medical student, resident and fellow education and clinical care, the successful candidate will focus the great majority of his/her time on research. This individual must be Board Certified in Nephrology, be competent in clinical renal transplantation and possess advanced training in epidemiology. Tenure track candidates must demonstrate a strong record/potential to establish an independent, extramurally funded research program.
