The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Instructor position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). The successful applicant will have experience in the field of assisted reproductive technologies and andrology laboratory techniques and practices. Responsibilities include planning, organizing and executing research projects related to the main scope and focus of the lab; organizing different resources to be utilized in the course of study, getting approval from different regulatory authorities. Writing and disseminating research results by preparing manuscripts for publication and presenting the research findings at scientific conferences is expected. Additional training will be provided in clinical and/or basic science research related to this field. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research and education.
