The Division of Translational Medicine and Human Genetics in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree.

We seek to recruit a scientist whose work is broadly in the areas of translational medicine and/or human genetics. The primary purpose is to establish an independent, well-funded research program consistent with the goals of the Division and the Department. Substantial opportunities exist for collaboration and joint appointment with a basic science department. This individual also will participate in the teaching of medical students, and mentoring post-graduate MD and PhD trainees, and junior faculty. The successful candidate will possess evidence of substantial research accomplishment records, strong communication skills, and a commitment to advancing research in translational medicine and/or human genetics.
