The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board Certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care is required.

The ideal candidate will interface with the divisional research program inthe area of acute lung injury in both the basic research and translational arenas. The primary focus of this position is research, however with critical care-related clinical responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to publish in peer-reviewed literature and have a past and current record of federal research funding. This individual will also participate actively in the teaching of medical students, and mentoring post graduate MD and Ph.D trainees, and junior faculty.
