The Division of Rheumatology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Full, Associate, and/or Assistant Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or the tenure track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, clinical care, and research. MD Candidates must be ABIM Eligible/Certified in Rheumatology.

The successful candidate will be part of one of the nation's most prestigious institutions offering an opportunity for clinical, translational, and basic science research opportunities in an academic setting, multidisciplinary patient care, and teaching responsibilities. The Division of Rheumatology includes extensive expertise in the full range of rheumatic diseases, including linked clinical and research programs in myositis, systemic lupus erythematosus, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, Sjögren’s syndrome, and vasculitis with plans to partner with the Department of Orthopaedics to expand clinical services and research within a multidisciplinary Musculoskeletal Center. The faculty member would also be expected to be directly engaged in the teaching mission of the Division.
