The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Radiology with a focus on Nuclear Medicine and Clinical Molecular Imaging. Responsibilities include providing professional medical services including the interpretation of nuclear medicine and PET-CT procedures as part of a comprehensive nuclear medicine clinical practice group that performs 14,000 exams annually. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in Research, Education, and Clinical Care. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, clinical care, and research. Applicants must be certified by the American Board of Radiology or American Board of Nuclear Medicine.

The successful applicant will have expertise in the field of Nuclear Medicine and experience with cross sectional imaging or expertise in Radiology with strong experience in Nuclear Medicine. In addition, a proven ability to participate and contribute to a strong comprehensive research program and a commitment to high quality teaching in our training program is expected. The Division supports a comprehensive nuclear medicine research program which includes instrumentation, radioligand development, radiotherapy and translational and clinical imaging. There are two cyclotrons serving the PET center.
