The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Track will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. While evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track, research is not required in the academic clinician track. Candidate must be board certified/eligible in obstetrics and gynecology and have completed fellowship training in family planning.
The candidate will establish a family planning program and provide gynecologic care at Pennsylvania Hospital. Candidates with a special interest in adolescent gynecology will be strongly considered. The candidate will be expected to play an active role in the training of medical students and residents. Individuals with an interest in a mentored research experience may be candidates for a Women's Reproductive Health Research (WRHR) career development award.
