Andrology and Infertility Specialist/Urologist

The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in either the tenure track or the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of urology and reproductive biology with a focus on andrology and infertility treatment and general urology. Responsibilities include clinical care of patients with symptoms related to andrology and/or infertility as well as general urological complaints; teaching of medical students, residents and fellows; and clinical and/or basic science research in the areas of andrology, infertility and reproductive biology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. They will also be certified by the American Board of Urology or eligible for such certification.

The successful candidate will be fellowship-trained and academically- and practice-oriented. He/she will have general skills in adult urological procedures and will have passed part I of the American Board of Urology examination process for certification.

The practice associated with this position will be a joint appointment in the Departments of Surgery (urology) and Obstetrics/Gynecology (reproductive biology).
