The Department of Cancer Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Cancer Biology with a focus on cell and molecular biology, protein biochemistry, live-cell imaging, FACS analysis, cell cycle analysis techniques, tissue culture and microscopy. Responsibilities include examining the functional consequences of kinase post-translational modifications during the cell cycle in both normal and breast cancer cells. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.
