The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Health Economics with a focus on Mental Health and Cost Effectiveness. Responsibilities include providing methodological and statistical support to multiple grant-funded projects in conducting economic analyses of cost, cost effectiveness and cost utility of various interventions and services used by individuals with autism and their families. Candidate will also manage and conduct analyses using large administrative data sets as well as designing and conducting cost analyses for ongoing intervention trials. Must have experience conducting economic analyses. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.
