The Center for Research on Early Detection and Cure of Ovarian Cancer at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Responsibilities include developing adenovirus vectors and animals models, investigating the tumor microenvironment in the context of tumor immune therapy; developing approaches to manipulate the tumor microenvironment to enhance immune therapy, molecular biology including adenovirus engineering. Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.
The successful applicant will join the distinguished group at the Ovarian Cancer Research Center and should have postdoctoral experience in the field of human and mouse immunology, immunodeficient models, xenograft, adenovirus vectors, in vitro and in vivo immunology techniques, tumor biology, hepatocyte cell biology, molecular biology and biotechnology.
