The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of lung cancer research with a focus on tumor immunology. Responsibilities include pursuit of independent scholarly investigations in that field, and specifically in the area of immunotherapy related to lung cancer and esophageal disease; and education of laboratory personnel, including research fellows. Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree.

The successful applicant will be expected to develop an independent but related research program in support of divisional research efforts. Past grant writing/reviewing/submission experience will be preferred.
