The Department of Cancer Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). The successful applicant will have experience in the field of cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, and mouse genetics with a focus on working on tumor suppressor, endocrine tumors, epigenetics as well as beta cell functions. Responsibilities include the characterization of the role of tumor suppressor menin in epigenetically regulating endocrine tumors and various signaling pathways. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.
