The Institute for Immunology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. B/C, B/E in Internal Medicine.

This is a joint recruitment with the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine.

Through this program, we seek to recruit outstanding physician scientists interested in the interface between basic investigation and translational medicine. Faculty members in the Penn Scholars in Molecular Medicine will have appointments in both the Institute for Immunology and the Department of Medicine. In addition to providing an environment rich in scientific mentorship and collaboration, appointees to the Penn Scholars in Molecular Medicine program will receive generous start up packages to support the establishment of a robust research program.

The successful applicant will direct a productive, independent basic or translational research program in addition to complementary clinical service and teaching. Applicants are being considered in all immunology-related disciplines.
