The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Pediatric Sleep Medicine with a focus on General Pediatric Sleep, Pulmonary, Neurology, Psychiatry or other relevant area. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care, education, and research. While evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track, research is not required in the academic clinician track. Sleep board certified/eligible.

The candidate will be expected to participate in both clinical activities and research in the Sleep Center at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The Sleep Center is a multidisciplinary program that includes pulmonologists, neurologists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, research coordinators, and sleep technologists. The sleep clinic and sleep lab each evaluate approximately 3,000 patients a year. There is a 14-bed sleep lab, and aN active, NIH-funded research program.
