The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant or Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research, clinical care, and education. Board Certified in Medical Oncology.
The position includes clinical care of patients with myeloma and amyloidosis, as well as active participation in our portfolio of clinical research studies. The myeloma program encompasses a busy outpatient clinic with nurse practitioner support, as well as an active inpatient service providing both autologous and allogeneic transplants, staffed with residents, fellows, and nurse practitioners. Current research efforts are focused on new drug development, cancer vaccines, cellular therapies, and epidemiologic studies.
The division welcomes candidates with clinical and research experience in myeloma and hematologic malignancies, and will be part of an expanding clinical research program in hematologic malignancies.
This physician will be a member of the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania and will have clinical and teaching responsibilities.
