The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Clinical Psychology with a focus on Anxiety Disorders. Responsibilities include designing and conducting studies on clinical outcome, treatment mechanisms, and psychopathology; conducting protocol therapy/assessments; preparing research protocols/scholary publications; and supervising residents/practicum students. The faculty member will be strongly encouraged to develop research programs in the area of anxiety disorders. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research and clinical care.

Strong skills in evidence-based psychological assessments/treatments (e.g., CBT) and training in research and treatment of anxiety disorders required. Strong quantitative skills and previous experience in writing/administering grants preferrred. Candidates with track records of external funding in anxiety and related areas will be given preference.
