The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Full or Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful applicant will be accomplished in the area of endocrine and oncologic surgery. Expertise in the specific area of surgery of the breast and treatment of oncologic disease is required. Responsibilities include outpatient and operative care of patients with breast disease and teaching of medical students, residents and breast surgery fellows. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. They must also be certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Candidates with fellowship training in breast surgery, or surgical oncology with breast emphasis, will be preferred, as will those with administrative experience. The clinical practice associated with this position will be located at Pennsylvania Hospital, the nation’s oldest hospital and a full member institution of the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
