The Department of Cancer Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). The successful applicant will have experience in the field of cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, and mouse genetics with a focus on working on tumor suppressor, breast cancer and HER2/ATK signaling, and epigenetics. Responsibilities include investigation of epigenetic regulation of PI3K/ATK signaling in endocrine and mammary tumors. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.
