The Division of Translational Medicine and Human Genetics in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. Applicants must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.
The successful applicant will have experience in the field of translational research in the area of the intersection between inflammation and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Responsibilities include conducting experiments related to inflammation and cardiovascular disease.
Position requires a minimum of three years of postdoctoral research experience. Independent research funding is not required to obtain this position, but obtaining funding once in the position is expected.
