The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Instructor position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Clinical Psychology with a focus on Neuropsychology. Responsibilities include developing, co-facilitating and delivering neuropsychological components for clinical intervention for mild cognitive impairment and performing and supervising neuropsychology exams in the evaluation and management of older adult outpatients. Applicant will receive additional training in clinical research methods, writing, and submitting grants and manuscripts with the goal of being able to contribute to the conduct of research and submission of new research grants. Applicant will participate in teaching and supervising of residents, medical students and other trainees. Applicant must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. with added training in Neuropsychology and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical evaluation, care and education. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.
The successful applicant will have completed a fellowship training program in Neuropsychology and be Board Eligible in Clinical Psychology.
